SITUATION II

You recently bought a new air conditioner which had been advertised on television. On receiving it, you discovered that it was nothing like the product shown in the advertisement.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I wish to express my dissatisfaction with the air conditioner I have recently bought on your website. The machine I chose, and paid for has as reference number AC735, however, I have received another one whose reference number is BC13C.

​

But also, both products are totally different. The first one must be installed on the wall but the second one is just a fan to put on the floor. Furthermore, the fan you have sent me is much cheaper than the model I ordered and paid for.

​

To make matters worse, I want to express my unhappiness with the treatment I received from your Customer Service Department. They refused to attend my complaint, and resolve the matter.

​

As you can imagine, I am extremely upset, I insist on an immediate replacement of the air conditioner, or I shall be forced to take legal action. I look forward to receiving your prompt reply.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my anger with the AC received yesterday. I decided to buy it after seeing it repeatedly advertised on TV.

​

 Firstly, was not sending the model that I had been shown on TV. The AC advertised was a small portable model, which was the model I was interested in. However, the delivery consisted of two big packets corresponding to a double unit for outdoor and indoor use, respectively.

​

Furthermore, the energetic efficiency label of this model is red, corresponding to letter G, it means the least efficient. However, the commercial highlighted that the item was A+++. The model sent contributed to climate change.

​

As you can suppose, I demand a prompt replacement or a full refund otherwise I will be forced to take legal action. I expect to hear from you soon.

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the courier service you offer, as I have not received my order yet, which I purchased by credit card from your shop last month. I am attaching a copy of the receipt for your reference.

First of all, I needed this skiing equipment as soon as possible and decided to buy it in your store because of your advertising, which stated that in case the payment was made by credit card, the shipping was immediate, but, in fact, a month has passed and my order has not arrived yet. I urgently need these products for my next trip.

​

Furthermore, when I called in an attempt to find out what was happening, the shop assistant was extremely rude and unhelpful, and he did not give me any useful information.

​

As you can imagine, I am extremely upset and I demand an immediate delivery without further delays, in addition to a written apology from the local manager, or else I shall be forced to take legal action. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to complain about my new air conditioner because I saw it onn a TV programme, but the product I received does not match the description.

​

Firstly, when I opened the box, the product I found was not the one I ordered. Its size was smaller than the TV, the colour was also different because I ordered a white air conditioner not a black one. In addition, the box where it arrived was broken and open, you should deal your products better. 

 

Furthermore, I saw the ticket and the air conditioner cost much money that I paid because of you collected me an expensive delivery and I watched in television it was free.  

 

However, I must say that one good point is the timing. I am grateful for it, you delivered me the product before in advance. Also, you have good and polite staff.

To conclude, you should revise all the deliveries before sending it.

I hope that this matter can be deal with promptly.
