LETTERS OF COMPLAINT
I
SITUATION III

You have just come back from a package holiday where you were disappointed by the lack of facilities and poor services.
Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to complain about the quality of your services. Two weeks ago I went on holiday on package holiday and there were a couple of issues which is why I am writing to you.

Firstly, when I arrive at the hotel there was nobody at the reception to give me the key of my room. I had to wait for forty minutes until a woman appeared. She told me where my room was and gave me the key in a very rude way.

The second problem happened the next day. The program of the package holiday said that I would have a wonderful and complete guided tour. Nevertheless, the guide tour only showed me the main square of the town. If I wanted to visit more places and have some kind of guide,I would have to pay fifty euros extra.

I would appreciate it if you could refund the thirty per cent of the holiday or you can give me an another package holiday with better services.

Yours faithfully,

Moira Gull
Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the terrible holidays (taking into account the cost) that I had last week at your lodging last week.
First of all, when I arrived at the lodgement the floor was dirty (not too much, but stained and sticky in places). I reported it to the girl at the reception, but when I returned to my accommodation it was still the same.

Furthermore, the website said that there were services such as room service every day, and in the ten days that I was there my room was only cleaned four times.

To make matters worse, I was very disappointed with the facilities given – none of my needs were addressed or taken care of during my stay.
I hope that I will not be forced to take further action.
Yours faithfully,

Emily Arches
