The Box is a 2009American psychological thriller film based on the 1970 short story "Button, Button" by Richard Matheson, which has been broadly adapted into many different versions. To name but a few, it was adapted into an episode of The Twilight Zone or as a radio programme, under the name of The Chinaman Box as part of the CBS Radio Mystery Theater.
